Letter carrier since 1991. First four years as a PTF in Grand Prairie, Texas and the rest in Dallas. Was a 204b from about 1992 to 2002, but quit because I can't work with the new breed of abusive, unprofessional supervisors the USPS is turning out.
Was forced excessed out of my Postal Job after 30 years of service. Now I am retired and very happy I had 30 years. I wasn't ready to retired but the PO is going down in flames. I worked in Labor Relations in NYC and saw the whole thing coming and even with my connections I couldn't be helped. I really feel sorry for those who don't have enough years and will be left out in the cold.
iam a postal clerk in lincoln nebraska iam working at main office tour 3 730pm to 0400am its a change from window ssa clerk 845am to 545pm had to go to plant because of job consolidation my health is not getting better working nights i am a kidney transplant patient that needs a way out or in a transfer status cause im not sure of work longevity any comments or help is great appreciated. i have been with post office since 1993 and a graduate of university of nebraska lincoln and a landlord. most of my years have been in customer service.
