We found mail carrier figurines in the library today. I often find that I appreciate occupations most when someone I love is doing it. I once said "I would NEVER date a marine- especially states away! I don't have the patience for a relationship like that!" then I met Mitchell πŸ’•who was 'a marine' stationed ALL the way in California! Fast forward to now and we have been married almost four years! Today was his first day at the USPS outside of training. πŸšπŸ“¬(if there was a dangerous loose dog emoji I would insert here but the friendly beagle doesn't do justice.) I am reminded how thankful I am for these people who deliver our professionally photographed Christmas cards, (except mine- i'd rather splurge on iced coffee than pay for that –so keep looking forward to my shit show of self timer Christmas cards.) bills, thank you notes, etc. I could definitely go without the bills but nothing says "I love you" like personalized mail so today I say THANK YOU to all the hard working mail carriers! You spread one of my favorite love languages and I appreciate ya!
