Check out this photo of the U.S. Postal Service’s Social Media Operations Center seen in a recent audit report issued by the USPS OIG. The audit report, Social Media Customer Inquiries, reported that the SMOC did not consistently respond to Facebook inquiries, did not respond to inquiries on Instagram and automatically “flushed” (i.e., deleted) Facebook and Twitter posts from the SMOC response dashboard prior to being reviewed by an agent within 48 hours.
