Happy National Postal Worker Day! Smarty would like to thank postal workers all across the nation and world who work tirelessly to ensure that our mail and packages are delivered to us on time. We’d like to take today to show our appreciation for the persistence of our postal workers, despite severe weather conditions, understaffing challenges, high-volume periods during the holidays, and more.
The U.S. Postal Service delivers more mail compared to any other postal service in the world, serving nearly 165 million addresses in the country, processing and delivering 23.8 million packages each day. There’s no doubt that everyday this task presents enormous challenges to postal workers.
At Smarty, our goal is to make postal workers’ lives easier. As we work to cleanse, standardize, validate, and verify addresses worldwide, our hope is that we can help decrease delivery time and enable postal workers to reach destinations with more ease.
